The year before last I did a programme with Kevin Green for the series on Predators fishing for tope and smoothounds on Discovery Home and Leisure and a programme with John Wilson also fishing for tope.  Both of these programmes have recently been aired on Discovery H&L and Anglia.

Previously I have done two other programmes with John Wilson out from Bradwell fishing for tope, bass, smoothounds and skate. I also appeared on Channel 4's Screaming Reels with Nick Fisher and Sky's Tight Lines with Keith Arthur and Bruno Brooks.

Coming from Southend originally, I caught my first fish, a flounder, off Southend Pier at the age of four and now over forty five years later I am still as keen.

I have spent a lot of time on all branches of fishing - boat, beach, fly, carp, pike, rivers, big game and salt water fly. I have written extensively for the angling press for over twenty five years in both the monthly mags and the weekly papers. 

I have also had seven years in the fishing tackle business and two five year spells as consultant for major tackle companies.. I am currently sponsored by American tackle giants PENN and my boats both here and in America are fully equipped with all their latest tackle.

Also in 1995 with wife Carole, we started the Florida Keys Fishing Holidays in Islamorada.
